FER operates a Centralized Wastewater Treatment (CWT) facility in Oklahoma City, OK. We provide generators with specific waste treatment plans to fit their individual needs. FER’s water treatment facility is the first step in the ultimate re-use of your industrial wastewaters. We treat wastewaters contaminated with constituents such as: hydrocarbons, metals, undissolved solids, organics, and an array of other contaminants commonly found in industrial and commercial wastewaters.
Waste Acceptance Plan
FER’s Waste Acceptance Plan (WAP) require the following: completed FER Profile Form, copies of historical analytical, and a quart size sample. Historical analytical includes results for metals, volatiles and semi-volatiles, pH, flammability and constituents of the current pollutant priority list. Once the required documentation has been received and approved FER can schedule receipt of the wastewater and begin processing.
All wastewaters are treated to meet the discharge parameters set forth in the specifications as listed in the Industrial Wastewater Utilities Department of the City of Oklahoma City. Our permit allows for the discharge of treated wastewater to the sanitary sewer that the City of Oklahoma City operates and maintains. Once treated wastewaters are received at the Oklahoma City Water Treatment Plant, they go through further treatment to be ultimately re-used for various industrial and agricultural applications.
FER prides itself in being the Wastewater Treatment Expert. FER has recently completed an upgrade to our CWT facility that will expand our treatment capabilities. This enhanced treatment allows us to serve an even wider spectrum of industrial and commercial wastewater generators.
